I’ve always wanted to scratch my nose, put my glasses on or get something to eat or drink by myself. Now I can do that. I only wish more people could have this equipment. It’s fantastic!

About Terry

Terry suffered a traumatic injury as a result of a diving accident in 2001 that left him a C4 quadriplegic and only able to move his neck and head. The highly skilled and renowned team at SCCR worked to help Terry achieve as much independence as possible prior to his returning home. In 2005, Terry became one of only two people in Canada to have access to a robotic arm and for the first time is able to enjoy a level of independence he never dreamed would be possible.
