Dream Again!

Stan Cassidy’s Vision

90 % of the children receiving rehabilitation care at SCCR are 10 yrs and under.

Facts

Approximately 50 New Brunswickers suffer brain injuries severe enough to require tertiary rehabilitation.

Since 1957, following the polio epidemic that caused such devastation in New Brunswick, Stan Cassidy successfully raised funds to build a facility focused solely on rehabilitation for New Brunswickers with complex needs. Because of his dream, today almost 49 years later, the Centre’s multi-disciplinary 85 strong team of highly skilled experts are providing rehabilitation care to thousands of New Brunswickers with complex physiological and neurological impairments. SCCR is recognized as a Canadian leader and in the forefront of modern rehabilitation care.
